That's a nice set. A friend picked up a set in 2019 for me that had the coat of arms on the reverse of all the circulating coins.
When I lived in England, dang, 18 years ago...I collected as many different 50p, 1, and 2 pound coins I could find that had different reverses.

I love the "Trafalgar" design, and I also like the definition of "Pence". So, instead of the CRHer's stating that they searched rolls of pennies, they should say that they searched rolls of pence. ~ Chris ROFLMAO 3.jpg

Not bad. Cheaper than a US year set :p Are the 5 pounds clad?
I don't collect British coins outside of what I got when I was there, along with silver coins (3p, 6p, 1s, florin, half crown, crown) and some pennies and farthings.

WHAT? Are you just buying the photos? The face value of the real coins are almost US $25. Add in postage and that is one hell of a good deal. Wish our mint sold them like that.

Pretty sure the only place that would accept the 5 pound coins would be a bank in Britain. Assuming @Morgandude11 is in the US, it would cost him a whooooooooole lot more to get to England to spend them if he chose to do that :p

Pretty set. I think the rose-reverse 20p coin is still my favorite regular-issue modern British coin. Something about that design just speaks to me.

Those bimetallics are really cool looking, too.

Oh- and that Trafalgar one with HMS Victory on it. Yep. Great set, with those commems. Seems a no-brainer at the price.

How do you feel about the Millennium set? I have seen a few for a reasonable price.

I'm afraid I'm not terribly familiar with it (without Googling it, which I will in a moment). My attention span with moderns is rather scattered.

Edit: OK, for anyone else who's curious, here's one on eBay that was the first random search result I got. Nice looking set.
