Mexican coins are among my favorites, so well designed and timeless. My gold 50 Peso is in the safe deposit box, in a closed bank (pretty safe), but I have my silvers. I don't clean them, I just keep them. IMG_2553 (2).JPG IMG_2554 (2).JPG IMG_2551 (2).JPG IMG_2552 (2).JPG

I mostly collect Spanish colonial 8 reales, many minted in Mexico City, but I don't really consider them coins of Mexico no matter how convenient it may be for catalogers to group them that way.

Here's an 8 reales issued as a newly independent nation.

30% silver. I like the way some of these issues look when they are a bit circulated... Polish_20200629_204112181.jpg

I don't specifically collect Mexican coins but I have a fair number of them, mostly common modern pieces that I haven't photographed yet. Here are some of my nicer coins though.

I’m interested in modern Mexican commemorative coins but haven’t found a good dealer. Do you all have any recommendations?

I don't have any ties to these companies:

    https://www.joelscoins.com/mexico.htm
    https://worldnumismatics.com/

World Numismatics specializes in Mexico, at least I believe they still do.

    Sorry for the bad pictures!
The first one is a 1959 Veinte Peso, and second one is a 1985 250 peso.
