    Hi there everyone,
Very new to the coin hunting hobby. I have been doing a lot of research on many different finds but this has me stumped on whether it is an error. Obverse looks like some sort of strike through or doubling as you can see in the pics. I thought at first the impressions on the left side of the coin were another strike of Jefferson but now I don't think so. It is definitely has a stamped pattern of some sort that follows the rust stain and was hoping someone with more knowledge might have a better take. Thanks much in advance for any thoughts. 20200630_175604.jpg
