I wonder if anyone knows if a remitter of a coin to NGC can request a comment being added in the comment area to the right of the description. Sometimes NGC will add a comment such as "fine style". Can I request that an Athens owl have the comment "Starr group V.B" added? Has anyone ever requested comments to be added?

Why don't you CALL NGC and ask to speak to the Ancient Coin Dept. Then you can post the answer that you get here for the rest of us. Thanks.

PM me if you don't get an answer.

Just called and was told I could request an additional comment, but it was up to the person grading the coin as to whether it would be added or not. Thanks for the suggestion

If you provide the reference you want and I can confirm it, I will add the reference to the ticket. I will only do this for a limited number of coins. I don’t have time to check references for a lot of coins.

Thank you, Barry. At this point I just have the one coin with a reference which will be sent in next week.

Put a note with my name on the invoice and receiving will bring it to my attention. I don’t see invoices unless they are flagged for some reason.
