this mornings update: out of 6500 items sold you are bound to get a few IDIOTS LIKE YOU! but NOT ONE OF THEM COMPLAINED ABOUT COINS AND YOU ARE GOING DOW!!! I see you're selling 10,000.00 Wheat pennies right now so you know exactly what you were buying when you bid and you are planning on switching the coins. out with some of your pieces of s$*%! how is it my fault that you have never actually seen a GOOD QUALITY COIN IN YOUR LIFE! OBVIOUSLY YOU BUY ****! BECAUSE YOU DON"T KNOW QUALITY WHEN YOU SEE IT! I have already contacted Ebay and pay pal about your other 10,000 wheat pennies you have and the others you have sold and what you have done already with my coins!!! like i said i will contact the police and i will file fraud charges against you. This is not a threat you edited! you have picked the wrong old Jewish man to mess with for certain! - it says in LISTING FORM & THE INVOICE i sent that I DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS- that;s why i know you planned this from the beginning to swap them out with your junk . it's why i don't take refunds you edited "@#8! Just because you file a dispute does not mean you will win- and let me tell you something else in my 87 years on this planet this is not the first time i have dealt with a scan artist like you - SO edited!
Frankly, this would tick me off. First, its embarrassing that he's Jewish and old and I'd contact the Attorney General's office in his home state, and then take out a small claims action and pay the money just to have him served in person. He's not the only hard hearted person on earth. Then I'd twitch his nose and email him that I didn't believe he was Jewish because Jews don't conduct business on the Sabbath and are a saintly and moral people, so he must be something other than a Jew. Now if that doesn't cause him to croak of a heart attack on the spot, I'd then call the Small Business Ass of his community and file yet another complaint, and tract down his Rabbi and send the posts forward to him and ask him if that is appropriate behavior, even in a business dispute. I'd also call the IRS and make sure he has a business license number, and if not, tip them off to his business transactions, just to be sure he's paying his taxes. And that would be my efforts just in the morning. By the end of the week I'd have complete photos of every coin on the net with all this information available and then spam usenet with announcements of the site and warnings to stay away from him. While the guy can not spell or punctuate, he has kind of got a way with words. Probably to much Geritol
He has, if you read between the lines. http://cgi.ebay.com/5-1909-VDB-US-L...ryZ39456QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
When a 63 RB goes for $64 http://coins.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=28104&Lot_No=24016 and a 64 RED goes for $98 http://coins.ha.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=1117&Lot_No=7213 I think it was a worthwhile shot.
This bitter old guy is probably infirm and figures he doesn't have enough time for refunds. Although, he sure put in some energy into his rants. Oh well. It rakes all kinds! Bruce
Sorry, but everytime I read one of his emails to Jack, I can't get the image of Abe Simpson out of my head...
This guy is doing the same thing my brother does. When he does something wrong and gets called on it...instead of owning up he begins making rash and unintelligible threats about anything and everything. It's sort of funny. You know, looking at the auction pic...the fields of those coins do look a little funny in the bad photos. Especially the top 2 on the reverse side. I think the photographer intentionally used too much light to cover up those problems. Good luck Jack and I really hope you get this resolved.
Looks like I'm not the only one who got his blood boiled by that e-mail! You basically said exactly what I was thinking.
Yes mrbrklyn, he is no Jewish coin dealer, he is just a crook "coin dealer". Maybe he is some sad old wannabee on the former claim.
Jack, it is against Ebay rules to NOT offer a refund if you are not happy with the purchase so that is a violation of Ebay Policies. That alone can get him NARU'd, just thought you'd want to know. Here are the policies that were violated: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/search-manipulation.html http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html The Refund Policy isn't spelled out anywhere but if you read the second link above, you will see they mention "common-sense obligations" which includes refunds. Furthermore, the seller's auction did not say NO REFUNDS, so the seller has to refund your money. Ribbit
