[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]Hello! I was wondering if you guys could tell me if this is just die deterioration, machine doubling, or actually a legit DDO. If so the 1958 ddo goes for a lot of money so I was hoping someone could confirm if this is a DDO or not. Im assuming its just machine doubling, but could anyone help me?

First, welcome to CT! Unfortunately your pictures are so overexposed and it makes it hard to make a determination. Please post pictures in focus with normal lighting and closeups of areas of question.;)

Nope, This particular coin is just a 1958 wheatie and Sorry but I love that you are looking for DD's, NEVER STOP, It only takes one of those babys to pay off big and they always do if compared to Face value :) !! I always tell people if they have or get the old Whitman books to check those coins, LOTS and LOTS of people put these together in the 1970's and 1980's, I some times buy the nicer ones I can find and because most people put away nicely struck coins, there are pretty good odds of finding a nice DD, because obviously the double died varieties are going to be much more bold and usually nicer looking strikes.
