Weird wear pattern. Isn't the breast a highpoint? Don't see much there, but tail feathers look worn. Then the reverse, which looks like a different coin. I would be at EF given that reverse.

Edit: But then....it has great luster like its never been circulated. Does everyone think this was a horrible strike, grease filled die, or something? I would like to hear from a early small cent guru. Weird coin to grade. I think the OP is messing with us.

 

The obverse vs reverse is messing with my mind. AU58 obverse. 50 reverse. I’ll go with AU55.

 

There has to be something with the strike / die as the letters on the obverse are messed up, too. Deteriorated dies and this is actually MS?

 

XF 45 I'm a bit conservative when it comes to grading. When I sold coins on eBay, buyers probably got a good deal because of it.

 

AU 58 ...this one is unusual (might even be MS with weak strike) but I'm guessing there is some wear

 

I want to say cleaned.

The more I look at it, the more confused I get lol

Now I am leaning 62ish

 

There does not seem to be any edge wear on either side that matches the rest of the coin. I think was struck with debris filled, worn dies on both sides.
It seems to be an uncirculated coin.

I am terrible on guessing copper coins. That being said, I will say AU 55.

 

Grease filled or weak strike. I am at MS62.
