He saw a 1934s Peace $ on an auction site, but the pics looked terrible. He realized it was because the person used a printer(scanner? photocopier?) to submit (post?) them. Because the pics were so bad and he realized why, he got a good deal.
1 more bargan I found this in some Au Bu silver quarter I had picked at melt about 10-15 years ago.and this was in one of the rolls.it look to be Bu
This was in with a few Kennedys in a sandwich bag at an IRS auction. Paid $5 or $6 for the bag. It has a PVC problem but I still like it.
Thanks. I used to find stuff like this all the time. This was sold to me as damaged for almost nothing. DDO with reverse off center clash. S-1.
That is a beautiful 22 Lincoln. That could be worth $2,500 - $3,000 bucks. How long ago did you get it?

Picked this up a a coin show in Hagerstown MD in the late 1980's. Had forgot my loupe and thought the steps looked good and asked how much the dealer said $0.50 didn't even know it was a doubled die until I got home. 50 cents would have been a great deal even if it wasn't a doubled die.
No your thinking of the 1943. This one I picked up about 8 years ago on ebay for $80 which was a bargain as well!
Picked this up for $56. The 2007 Krause lists this as $450 in VF and $600 in Unc, so it's somewhere in between... if you consider Krause an accurate source.
Sorry that I don't have any pics! I will search my PC files and floppies to see if I still a picture and post it. By the way, it was a 1996-P (I think) Quarter that was missing about two-thirds of the cladding on the Obverse which I got for a $0.25 from one of the Postal Clerks at the local Post Office about 4 years ago. The areas of remaining cladding and missing cladding were unique and the way the cladding came down across Washington's face and around his' eye, it made him look like the Phantom of the Opera. I listed it on eBay sort of like that and it brought $350. Frank
I don't have any pics of it...but when I was first getting into collecting I purchased a couple proof sets from a small dealer I visited regularly. This was probably 10 years ago. One of the sets was a run of the mill 1979 set that I bought for around the Red Book price at the time (I don't remember how much it was...probably $7 or $8 or so). Anyway, it became part of my collection and was never that big of a deal. A couple years ago I was going through my collection and found it and decided to check the SBA's mint mark which I had never done before. It turned out to be a Type 2!
