Ebay buy turns into comedy

I recently purchased 5 1909-VDBs from an " original BU roll " on the bay.
Well, today 5 scrubbed out dipper's arrived ( I gambled on poor pics). YIKES what a stretch !!!

I'll keep you posted on the refund progress, seller states no refunds. These days are paypal only, and it was $235 total. Lets try another go round of the " Paypal Protection" system.

Good luck! I always use paypal with a credit card for more(??) protection. The one time I tried it with paypal I lost. I am sure you wife will get it solved.

 

Jack, I think you were still high from that 1922 steal you got from poor pictures.

If I knew how to cut and paste an email from seller, I would. AMAZING.

Just off the phone with my Paypal rep, I am getting a refund but have to let the system play it out.

I did not follow my own advise and toolhaus the seller before bidding. Ebay hides old feedback these days.

These have Never been cleaned dipped or otherwise altered! THESE ARE in original condition and came from the original roll which i still have the paper from that had also been wrapped in cloth.i have had these my entire life!!!!!
these are genuine and as taken from the roll. i have never been accused of anything LIKE this in hundreds of coin transactions on ebay or at any other time. they have light toning on them and i described them perfectly! even in the pictures you can see the light tone on the coins. IF THEY WERE CLEANED IT WOULD NOT BE PRESENT! they have original luster and you have no idea what you are talking about but so help me god if you swap out these pennies with any other coins or damage them in any way i will take legal action and i will contact the police in your area for internet fraud! That's crazy Jack! I found the listing. He is 87 years old and received the coins as a boy?? lol. Are the ones you received the same ones in the listing, or did he swap them out?

 

I just thought of that Ruben, I packed them up already. Not real bad, just dippers, bangers and scrubbers. Not at all what I expected. Anything 63RD and above would have been ok. A nice one would have been a bonus.

Jack, I know it might be trouble, but maybe you should unwrap and photograph them, otherwise you have nothing but his photos in the dispute. Just a thought.
