It's a modern young-people thing that was pretty popular around 6 months to 1 year ago.

Basically the idea is to take a selection of comparable things (fast food restaurants, animals, sports teams, etc) and put them into "tiers," with S-Tier being the highest ranked and F-Tier being the lowest.

These are usually supposed to be pretty amusing, if not funny, as the authors' intention is to write up a humorous article on how they placed each entity into its respective tier.

    Examples of prose include:
"Kentucky's probably should have been a basketball, half red half blue. They, too, chose horse. And I'll never kick a North Dakota quarter out of bed. Not if they're bringing multiple bison to the table."

"But Michigan... Michigan is the worst quarter of all time. It's just an outline of the state and the lakes that happen to help make out that profile. Michigan is admitting to you it has nothing to offer except the land that was given to it."

This is a fun read if you're into tier lists. I enjoyed it

Welcome to Coin Talk. Don't take it personally if you live in either of these states but IMO Wyoming and Texas belong in the P.U. tier. Both are so bland. :)

The Wyoming SQ is so bad that the best they could come up with is a copy of their license plate. ~ Chris
