Okay, Kelly! It's time for a little "tough love". I've read all of your threads and your excuses that we should "bear with you" because you are learning. In one thread, I suggested that you buy a book on Mint errors to help you learn. You didn't even bother to acknowledge my comment, but you have acknowledged everyone else! So, that tells me that you don't want to learn. You want everyone else to do the homework for you. There are trillions of coins in circulation, and there are just about an equal amount of ways for coins to be damaged while in circulation. The same cannot be said for Mint errors. So, from now on, I will refrain from telling you the how and simply ask you if you have made any attempt to help yourself. Have a good day! LOL! Hahaha and all that jazz! ~ Chris
Excuse me. During covid-19 it's a little hard to get out to buy a book. I have tried to responded to everyone in here who has been helpful to me. Sorry I didn't see yours. As for everyone lseeto do my to do my work, that's not true. I've gone on several websites suggested to me. Some of what you guys call doubled die to me doesn't look the same as what they show. So sorry I question you guys to try to learn
I also have possemia vera so it's hard for me to get out. I sit in my room and go through change all day and night.
Just to educate you, polycythemia vera is a books cancer that can't be cured. It makes my eyesight bad my muscles hurt, heavy fatigue and causes my spleen to swell so I'm always in pain. But by all means, give me your tough love. It's all I can do to wake up everyday. So maybe you're right, this isn't the Bobbie for me
I also have Colitis which keeps in in the bathroom all day... Any other I also have colitis wihich keeps me in the bathroom all day. Any other EXCUSES you need? I'm sorry I didn't respond to your post. It wasn't intentional
The nickel you posted is damaged. That is a scrape, a rather large one. You can still see Jefferson's hair because the scrape in that area is not as deep. He really got wacked on that coin. On another note, I'm very sorry to hear of your physical ailments. Despite all you suffer from daily, hourly, or by the minute, you are very positive and upbeat and I'm glad you've found something that you like and gives you pleasure. My prayers go with you.
Likewise. This hobby is one of lots of fun and enjoyment, and I am glad it can provide some joy to you. While it can be frustrating finding things that seem to be errors but aren't, you will get the hang of it. Soon, you will begin knowing what to look for and what isn't really an error / variety. Best of luck, an I am always willing to answer questions if you have any.
Thank you very much. Since you said that... I had decided to give up looking for errors when at my doc's today I just found this laying on the couch...
Where exactly do you see the doubling on the coin? That is one thing that is very helpful to anyone on CoinTalk who is trying to help identify.
Ive asked one other person but what do you think of this one. From everything I've looked at it looks doubled die to me. I just found it at the doc's office after deciding to give up on errors. Ha!
