Ok. Another crazy penny. If you guys day this is road kill I'll except that. But could someone please explain to me why it looks like it has two G's in God and two A's at the end of America? Plus all the other extra drips and blobs of metal and gloopy letters? Thank you!
Better spend it while you're still able! Too much damage to guess where the G's and A's came from. Better luck next time!
Not being mean at all... if you post here you read here... there’s ALOT of post asking the same thing and of course there no way to be 100% sure what happened... it mangled!!!
Yes...but how do I tell if it's mangled at mint or after it left? Examples online can be confusing. Not to mention YouTube or Etsy. Most those people have got to be lying...???
Wow!!!! Ok. Forget YouTube and Etsy!!! Say these words. “ I will never look at or seek advise from YouTube or Etsy web site again” and say that with you hand on the screen of your computer with coin talk home page on it.. Etsy is complete junk for coins any way. YouTube take it as a grain of salt...
I was just teasing. I guess that's my question...how do you know if you find one that's worth more than its face value? Here's one more...tell me what you think...
You need to go to you closest barns and noble or order a Red Book... it will help you as you grow as a collector. coins like that you posted is road rash and is not a mint error. It was damaged after it left the mint... Google us minting process and learn the making of a coin and that will help you learn how a “error” is made..
The second coin I sent you is the same? Just making sure. I thought grease or something caused the blob on the word God. Why do the sevens look that way? Liberty too. To me those do look like mint errors...I don't know
There’s so so many more different type of classes and errors. That’s the fun for me anyway to collect!! If you go and read back on some post will help you out a lot also.. paddy should be along soon to bust you bubble... lol.... he is a good guy full of knowledge and has a awesome error collection!!
If you need to invoke paddy, just put one of the at thingies in front of his name just like @paddyman98 or @Paddy54
