What a perfect 39th rotation around the sun celebration it has been thus far :woot:
I received a wonderful coin that has been on my want list forever, yesterday, from our own @Herodotus! Herodotus, you're my hero:happy:Though, I waited until today to open it as today is my 39th birthday.

SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Pseudo-autonomous issue. temp. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Æ Trichalkon. Struck under P. Quinctillius Varus, Governor of Syria. Dated year 25 of the Actian Era (7/6 BC).
O: Laureate head of Zeus right
R: Tyche seated right on rocky outcropping, holding palm branch; at feet, river-god Orontes swimming right; EK (date) in right field.

As everyone else does, I'm calling it my divine 39;) (hey, being a dude, I never got a sweet 16:rolleyes:).
The little lady also spoiled me with an item from my want list (a remake of an archaic Greek horse) and then a total surprise as she killed and mounted the head of the lead gorgon, Medusa:

I Scared the crap out of my 4 yo with this when the medusa sprang at him!
I thought Medusa would go pretty sweet above my Gorgon presentation:

    And I was right!

Please share your new coins, Greek art (real or remake), anything Gorgon or whatever you feel.
It's my birthday so drinks are on me!

AAaaand, @Herodotus ! WOW, congrats on your Son arriving today! HUGE congrats to your wife: 1) She has had to put up with YOU, 2) She did all the heavy lifting for this venture!!!

I always felt that a woman should have her birthday celebrated AND all her children's birthdays as hers. :)

Congratulations to @Ryro on your birthday, and to @Herodotus (and your wife!) on your baby boy. Wonderful!

    Medusa approves.

@Ryro, your new mask is the first time I've seen Medusa with vampire fangs. A little creative license!

Congratulations @Herodotus. Now comes the diapers. And believe me, someday you will look fondly on the days of diapers when your child is grown and off on his own.
