I am doing my best to keep out of conversations that would get me banned. My tolerance for stupidity has taken a steep nose dive lately and there are several people here on CT who fit that description. Instead of engaging, I have decided to take a step back.

Hey look at the bright side you have the right to post what you want to post but I understand stupidity... you always have informative information to contribute here that shouldn’t hold you back...

Just don't soak for an extended period without checking it frequently, IMO

Amen, I got a notice that a post was not allowed because I mentioned NYC as the last place on the planet I would ever go back to. It was in response to a FOG listing.

You DO NOT have the right to post what you want. The hammer will fall.

I feel the same way about stupidity. It's getting worse in this world.

...I, and probably many more members, are there with you.

Some newbs post garbage even after they have been instructed with website links and expert advice. When they exhibit the tendency to not be able to learn, that’s when I step back...Spark

Unlike silver coins, acetone treatment of copper or copper plated coins can result in an undesirable, unnatural coin color. I would agree with Oldhoopster regarding frequent monitoring of the soaking coin. Another option is to do a test run on one or more similar common zincolns in which there would be no loss of coin value with negative results.
