Its a deluge! Another delivery today, from Prague. 1973 Jomo Kenyatta medal. 35mm across, have not weighed it. Appears to be UNC-MS 1973 Kenya Medal.jpg

This was a pleasant surprise. Got this out of the mail today and it is much nicer than the seller's pictures led me to believe. I have been after this type for a while. They are usually either stupid expensive or poor condition.

I edited the seller's photos as best as I could.

At a LCS today, I picked up these coins for 10 cents apiece. The 1990 USSR coin set will improve my foreign coin album. The 2001 Liberia 10 Dollar coin has a holographic image of the Statue of Liberty which is pretty cool. BTW, the 1947 & 1948 Wheaties are upgrades to my Dansco Lincoln Cent album. Not bad for $1.20!

I have never seen that 4 pfennig before, cool. I want one. Got a load of coins yesterday, so I guess I can stop griping about never getting any new coins.

I really like the art deco look to the 32 4 pfennig coin. I picked it up from the LCS recently.

I went right over to ebay and bought one. I see they go for fairly high prices. I lucked out and got a nice clean one kind of cheaply.

So these are my two recent pickups off Ebay.. the 5 pesetas being 20 dollars and the junk boat dollar being 125. Junk dollar is cleaned but looks really good to me still, doesn't seem like it was a very thorough cleaning atleast. I still see a good bit of luster on the piece. Plus with all the fakes pouring out of China it's nice to aquire it as I have always loved the early 20th century coin designs from there.

I have a few of the too. A couple years ago, I met a fellow in Bangkok. I said "Where are you from?" and he said "Malta". I just said "Cool". 1972 Malta 2 cents.

This was the first Malta silver coin in my collection. I had been looking at a few for a while.
