This coin was made available to me, I've always wanted a celtic gold coin. I'm thinking it is a quarter stater. The only celtic staters I've seen are the gold horse ones, but I know that there are many others out there. Does anyone have any ideas what this one could be? Tribe, period, etc? It was tested gold for sure.
    Thanks in advance! celtic2.jpg celtic1.jpg

Not Celtic, but actually from colonial (Dutch?) India - Gold fanam from about the 1700s.

    Yup, you are absolutely right.
How did I get these two mixed up lol. The person offering it to me said he found it in britain, and I immediately thought celtic gold lol.
