Sorry guys I’m night shift I’m super bored and sleepy... I got 1988 d bubble penny wide AM.. the raised on letter C cent is so cute...
Those are called plating blisters. Not worth over face unless you can find a huge one. And I believe 1988 pennies are meant to have a wide am.
Hi sir good morning I believe you. I don’t know I’m just different I’m laughing here right now because I remember when I have a boyfriend 15years ago I told to my sister oh my gosh my bf is so cute and she said he looks scary to me lol..btw I have similar 1990 penny little bubble but is this mole sir ? Thank you so much
There is a 1988 D Wide AM. It's in Cherrypickers Guide. It's Labeled 1988-D, FS-01-1988D-901 (CONECA: DRV-006) I'm surprised some others didn't reply.
in 1988 rare alternate reverses from both the Philadelphia and Denver mints were produced where the A and the M were Wide as normal but the FG initials were close to the memorial rather than far as they should be for that year. These are 1988 coins with the transitional year reverse of 1989. This variety has sometimes been unfortunately called the 1988 Wide AM even though a Wide AM is normal for that year.
Well then why does Cherrypickers Guide have it listed as A Side AM? Is it because the FG are to close and they have to be wide also to be the 1988 Wide AM? According to Cherrypickers Guide there is a Variety for 1988 & 1988 D.
Hhmmmmm sir paddy I thought you’re expert lol joke I’m wondering if sir Mountain Man see this post too lol
I'm confused, I thought most of you agreed on Cherrypickers Guide, if not why? What source do you refer to to see if you have an Error Coin? I won't buy any Coin of Error of its not in the Cherrypickdrs Guide.
Maybe they just ignore I finally got right thank you so much for pointing this out sir I really appreciate it...
Hmmm they just wanna give me hard time for my PMD coins and this one they don’t give me comments. Im thinking right now what if sir James Williams don’t see this post?
I don't specialize in Varieties such as wide or close AM and don't care much for them. I specialize in Mint Errors which is different. How do I know what to collect? 36 years of experience. I don't need a book.
We don't want to give you a hard time and we are not ignoring you. That's not why we are here.. Today is Sunday so many members take a break from CoinTalk. You won't get a response right away.
