Trying to find out a little more on this coin. Googled it and there is some info on this coin. It’s a 1/10 ounce coin.

This looks like a modern series piece. The legend states that this is the city's coat of arms circa 1900 while the other side gives a city view of Ludwigshafen on the Rhine and calls it the city of chemistry.
I’ve never seen this medal before. The only web site I found mentioning it is this one: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1900-germany-city-ludwigshafen-gold-1899243747 They “estimate” it’s made of .900 gold, but they don’t know for sure. It doesn’t look like an “official” issue either.
Sorry, missed this post. Note it’s not a coin, but a medal and I wouldn’t be so sure it’s made of fine gold.
