    Looks like a worn die strike, early stage. That’s a large date 1982-D. Appears to be copper by the pictures but would need a weight to be sure.

    Oh no wonder it’s kind of thick than other pennies sir. I have no weight here. If it’s copper is it good? I will buy scales.

    It’s unfortunately not worth more than face value. I would highly recommend getting a scale, it is extremely useful!!!! Just make sure it can weigh at least .01 grams!
