1939 d quarter....d/s??

I have this coin the P CGS told me they checked and did not give the D over S , i told them to re check it

If PCGS says no, then it probably isnt. It is probably a die break on the d. Can we see pictures of the whole coin?

 

Sure. I'm thinking there may have been a next up cause I only talk to the secretary in she was telling me it went through but I just have a feeling it didn't cause it was in the middle of the pandemic.

I don’t think it’s a FS-501. The location of your mint mark appears wrong. The FS-501 is higher and further to the right.

It matches that one I think. In addition what appears in the opening of the D matches exactly what an S would look like, don't u think?

 

So is the one I posted, it’s the 65 listed below the one you posted. To tell you the truth, those 2 PCGS listings don’t look alike to me.
