In the past month I have purchased items via Ebay and QXL.no, the Ebay one was from Canada was mailed out May 7 and to arrive May 27. It never arrived and I got a refund this morning. The QXL.no was from Norway paid for May 6 never arrived seller would not respond got refund via PayPal Monday. Normally it takes up to 2 weeks for me to get things from Canada and Norway. I know COVID could be a factor but has anyone else had the same problem.

I had an order from an eBay seller shipped from Canada 5/19 and arrived 5/30. Earlier than predicted. I guess it's a toss up, but is related to the virus. The seller mentioned that there could be delays. Depending on the value the tracking number is important.

    It's the norm these days.
I ordered cheap fishing tackle from Asia and Europe over a month ago. Got one package yesterday and 1 more to go out of 6 items.

Neither one had a tracking number as they would have been envelopes. I also had a coin folder from the UK that got here on May 22 and it was shipped out May 7 there was no tracking either. Maybe it depends on the country of origin. Currently I have a bigger package from Norway with tracking but the Norway postal site is very slow in updating.

I won a coin in a recent Savoca auction (Germany) and I received it in less than a week... I was shocked, that is better than non-covid delivery times :)

I have a order I made back in April and still waiting, but I was warned it would take a while.

Mail in general is at a snails pace due to 19.
The dime I posted 1916 only took 10 days on a priority post.
I saw a mail truck yesterday going down the road....for the life of me I have no idea how the driver could drive fill beyond normal.
I'm sure the post office has a lot of call outs due to 19.

I have noticed that items with foreign tracking numbers are sometimes (most times?) not picked up by the USPS tracking system. They just show up without any tracking in the US system.

German here. The post seems to work way faster than before covid.
I’m guessing less traffic on the road?

Our local postal service in New Orleans has been awful since early this year, and only gotten worse with the virus. Even though I get the daily digest telling me I should have mail each day, pretty much every week we just don't get delivery at least one day, and I have items taking a week or more to get to me that were mailed locally. Whether there are problems at the sending end in other countries I don't know; but USPS is clearly struggling. And now Congress is talking about refusing to fund them ....

We've been experiencing a lot of USPS problems around the Detroit Metropolitan area as well. I too get the daily digest letting me know what is to be delivered each day, but many times items fail to be delivered. I had a tracked package that said it was "out for delivery" on May 30, never showed up that day. Today daily digest tells me it's being delivered (again) and when I track the number at USPS it says it was already delivered on May 30!
I'm also waiting on some items bought on eBay in April that are to be delivered from China. They've been at a standstill for quite awhile, don't know if they'll ever start moving out of China.

A book I ordered on Arabic coins from Ebay took more than 2 months to arrive from Australia to the US. When it arrived, it had green US Customs tape on it for resealing, so it looks like someone pulled it out and opened it for inspection, so that likely delayed it further. The book arrived in great shape regardless, so it was at least handled well.

For at least awhile some countries were not shipping mail out of the country due to covid. I don't know if that is still the case or not.

That's a good one. Has anyone bothered to inform Congress that they don't fund the Post Office? Yes every now and then they do a bail out, but as a general rule the Post Office has to get its funding from postage. (Which when the need an increase has to be approved by Congress and they usually cut the requested increase in half.)

All correct in terms of USPS funding; Congress also sets mandates on aspects of their spending, like some incredibly burdensome, far into the future funding of their retirement plans, which have really contributed to their economic issues. Hence the occasional bailouts, another one of which is needed now. Just another messy federal system, unfortunately.

Packages to Australia have been a disaster last two months.

MI has been awful. Last two I sent there from the each coast took over a month while the rest of the country is pretty normal

That's mostly a largely debunked myth, it''s just their excuse for their flaws. Letting massive companies ship things for pennies on the dollar is one of them, when you see your package from NY to PA stop in Puerto Rico or California first that's another, not getting enough money for doing drop shipping is another and so on.

I ordered a couple coins from a Portuguese seller. Apparently, the ISC center in New York is having tremendous problems with staffing, so international packages are taking a lot longer to provess. This doesn't even count the problems in the origin country. I've ordered from this seller before and arrival was about two weeks, it's been well over a month now for the latest package.

I have been waiting on a package from Tailand it’s been 2.5 months on EBay. Also a 2 Nd package from Japan was refused and the Ebay Seller is now trying via DHL hope it makes it. Been almost 2 months.

So ironically, I received a coin from England in yesterday's mail, mailed only back on May 25. Still waiting a piece mailed May 23 here in New Orleans ....
