1969 S Split Serifs?

    What leads you to believe it is a doubling? I see damage to the serifs but no splitting.

    Thanks for sharing this coin. I enjoy trying to see the doubling. But even if the slight irregularity at the points of each 9 is doubled die, would such a minor doubling be worth more than keeping as a curiosity? In my view, if it isn't obvious, it doesn't matter much.
