1952 S Wheat

    Hello all, I have a 1952 s wheat cent that I found The other day is this an error on the 5? Or just post mint damage?

    FYI, not worth over retail (about 3 cents) in that condition. Die chips like that are common.

    Question, what kind of error would be valuable on a cent like this? And condition would play a huge part in it as well?

    Most of today's errors for business strikes are minor in nature. Some command no extra value, while others a just a little. In order to be valueable you need major things, like a Doubled Die as in the 1955. Condition is everything.
