    Can you please reload your images and where it sez full size press that to load the photo in full size.
    This way we can see and read the image better.
    What you have here is a doubled die. There is another simular to yours but it on a Jefferson nickel called a 1943 double eye variety.

    You need and contact Dr. James Whiles.
    To have him attribute you find and give you credit for the find.
    Once he has examined the specimen he will send you a letter stating his findings.

    I have about a half to 3/4 roll that i got at a bank or store back then. I was told then it was nothing. I still have them and all are unc.

    This is how it is , If someone is looking thru new rolls from the mint and finds something good there will be more of the same error or variety in the rolls if they came from the same mint box of rolls. I have groups of hundreds of doubled die coins ,hundreds of clashed die coins and numerous other identical good type coins from roll searching a few years ago.

    No I would not say your coin is crap until you hear back from the expert you sent the photos to.

    Coin is crap. I'm keeping it anyway. Dr. Whiles said it is just a normal coin.

    Well, they say that the third eye is in your mind, or elsewhere on your body. I personally find the former more interesting.
