Coinfest is this Friday & Saturday!

Coinfest is in Stamford Connecticut is this weekend. Is anyone out there at CoinTalk going? I'll be there Friday. You will recognize me as the coin collector walking around with the magnifying glass in his hand. Sometimes I put it in my pocket & sometimes I hang it around my neck. You should easily locate me in the crowd.

Last year at Coinfest, I purchased a really nice MS64 V-nickel struck off center. I also got a nice 5 Kr coin from WWII era Greenland. If you ever visited Coinfest let us know about it and let us know about the coins you found.

Cool nickel! I wish I could go but its to far of a drive.

 

Things have changed and it looks like I may be making it there on Saturday.....will know better by Thursday night.

Man I'd love to join you fellas, Stamford is just a short hop across the sound via ferry. Too much on my plate this weekend.

 

Well unfortunately things have conspired so that I won't be making it this time. Oh, well.....we will see.

#2: Too much rain to drive in.

Going out to dinner tonight with the wife & friends, 1st time in a while.

#4: Rt 110 (Melville) show tomorrow. Much closer.

Yes, I'll be there from about 8 to around 11 to Noon.
Unless the show is boring, then i'll leave early to go metal detecting.

If you go, ask George (the show's owner) where I am, or look for Ed Duran.
I am usually in the area.
