Finally found someone that had a decent amount of cents available, I just finished going through $25 worth. 24.4% (97.5% Cu) remaining (2.5% Cu) 12 Lincoln Wheat Reverse Cents *1917 *1929 D *1933 *1935 *1942 *1945 *1946 D *1947 D *1955D *1956D *1958 D x2 4 Canadian Cents *1984 *1976 *1996 *2002 +1 1963 silver dime Here is the 47, pretty good shape
thanks so much I finally got around to searching for the mintage figures, the 1933 surprised me, < 15,000,000 (much less than the 1909 "VDB") *if indeed these figures are true* So the 1933 is a "semi-key" no?
circulation doesn't get much better than this.... the only wear i could spot out was on the steps of the memorial, nicest Lincoln I have found so far
Yes, the 1933 is a tough Date. By far the best one you found. I was surprised to read that you pulled a 33 from roll searching. Congrats. By the way, Id like to see a picture of that one.
thanks it is surprising that a wheat back with such a low production could be found, anything is possible i guess here ya go roughed up cull, I still like it though
went through $7 worth today, pretty good over all 28.7% (97.5% Cu) 1957 D 1941 1945 1956D *and finally 6000 pennies later i got a 1963, so i have all the year/mintmark varieties
The D mintmark makes me think it's deffinately not a proof, unless they made some I'm not aware of in Denver that year. Guy~
