I do not think it is a cud. Cud are caused by a broken die. The area in question looks to be incuse and not raised above the surface of the coin and the line does not go through the rim. It may be struck on a damaged planchet.
Does not look like a cud at all, it is most likely a mini clipped planchet. These are not worth much above face value if anything at all.
the technical term for this is...are you ready? Post Mint Damage. This is a scrape to the rim that bumped a small amount of metal up on the surface.
I think your latest photo proves my point about damage. The crack is not raised and you can see the flat area on the rim where the coin was hit. There are 2 different colors of metal showing.
