It does look good for an '82 found in circulation. You can look at the other responses as negative however I wouldn't. The guys responding are just letting you know what's going on with the coin. It has helped me in the past with learning just what is going on with some things that I posted. Kudos
Something easily overlooked is that for that date, mint sets were not available to the public via mail. If you wanted an authentic mint state coin, you had to buy them at the Mints' gift shops (Denver and Philadelphia). As a result, finding mint state coins in circulation was a harder task as the years go by. If you look at Red Book's estimated values, you will find that 1982 P&D, 1983 P&D, and even 1984P all have a higher value posted for MS coins. If you find these dates and the coins are AU+ or better, they are definitely worth saving. Try building a roll for these dates from CRH finds and loose change...you will find it as difficult as building rolls of 2009 P&D Jefferson nickels in the same conditions. Additionally, buying authentic mint state coins online (e.g., eBay), you'll find that they are pricey compared to other adjacent dates. Good luck on the hunt!!
