Sorry to disappoint, but I wouldn't come close to calling it a 66 from those pics.

What do you mean it's not "BU." Do you mean it's not uncirculated, or that it's toned and therefore not brilliant?

The color is secondary to it being photographed under flourecent light . The high spots are without wear and the details are very is nice luster. Is not FBL

Do you see any hits on it? Point them out. Perhaps I'm blind.

    Sure:

The biggest hit I see on the obverse is just below the 9 in the date. It actually extends from the 1 to the 5.

There is also a decent hit on Franklin's coat, to the left of the first hit I mentioned, and directly underneath his ear.

I see some minor chatter on Franklin's jaw line, as well as in front of his face.

On the reverse, the lower half of the bell has some chatter, as well as a hit below the eagle and another hit/scratch to the left of the A in DOLLAR.

There is minor chatter below and to the left of the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

I would grade it MS-63, MAYBE 64, if there are no breaks in the luster.

    That's not in the coin.

I don't see these in the photo or on the coin. Can you circle them?

There is a hit on the A, but that is all I see. It even cuts the A and there is a little dit between the D and the F that needs a 10x loop to see.

I'll see if I can get a clearer picture tomorrow. Tanks for taking the time to look.

    I don't see the eye appeal of a 65, much less a 6.

I'd like to see more pics, that could make all the difference. I know I have a hard time getting good pics of Franklin halves. They can look spectacular in hand and lose eye appeal in pics.
