The American Numismatic Society just recently inaugurated a podcast called "The Planchet." So far it only has 2 episodes, one dealing with 19th century coins and the other with ancients. It definitely looks promising.

Ep. 01: Foreign Currency before the Coinage Act of 1857
Ep. 02: Mark Antony: A Rouge With Monetary Insight

I recently joined the ANS out of curiosity and they sent me an email with a link to many things, including the podcast, which doesn't require membership.

Watch out for those fellows. They're an elitist, haughty group of individuals who think they're better than most. They did, however, allow me to examine trial stikes and such (with gloves) back when I belonged to a coin club (on a field trip) out here on the island.

They are supposed to be "tighty whities," but that probably just makes everything worse... :D
