Ever seen a Reagan dime?

    Technically, he already has been on a common circulating coin... the South Dakota quarter (he's one of the faces on Mt. Rushmore).

    Does anyone have some information about these Reagan Dime silver tokens? Specifically, I remember about when they were released but I can't find the name of the private mint that made them or anything about mintage numbers or amount of silver in them.

    Silver is 3 grams. I weighed one at work.

    So, I believe that is roughly 1/10 of an ounce.

    i would love to see Reagan on any circulating currency at this point

    I don't know if the dime is long overdue for a change. I'll admit, Reagan would be fine on a coin...but there is nothing wrong with FDR either, he is certainly a worthy President. I think we have more worthy President's in our history than coins to put them on. If it were up to me though, I would put Liberty back on all our coins...that's what I think is right.
