Finally got around to searching a box of quarters I picked up last weekend on our trip out of town. I found another Lowell W and my first Wisconsin Extra High Leaf! I was stoked to find it and will add it to my 2 Extra Low Leafs.

Nice going TEX. I've been wanting to find an extra leaf quarter, still haven't run across one.

Nice find. Where did you buy the quarters (general area)? In Montana, we seldom get any new releases and mostly just old circulated Denver Mint coins.

You definitely are excited, congrats! That's what real coin collecting is all about.

Nice finds. I've been watching for one of those Wisconsin coins since forever. Needless to say I have yet to find one.

This kind of find in pocket change (or coin roll hunting of course), to me, really evokes my experience as a young kid. I'd buy six rolls of dimes (all I had the cash for!), sit on the step outside the bank and search them for silver, then re-roll them and go back in to trade for six more rolls. Now, 45'ish years later, I still search rolls occasionally - and despite peering at thousands of quarters in the last few years I have yet to find either of those. But I'd be jazzed if I did!

Thanks everyone. I took some pics today with better lighting. Got another box to search, hoping for more Ws. I got both these boxes in NW Texas, @Mountain Man.
