right so what would be the point of going through all that trouble. I would think if someone steals valuable coins like those listed that they has a good fence.

rzage What Goes Around Comes Around .

It probably boils down to the type of thieves they are , run of the mill crackheads just see dollars signs and the drugs that they can get , they'll sell to the 1st person to offer them enough to get high , then there's your professional theif who already has a buyer before he even steals anything . If they're on dope they ain't thinking too clearly and might go to a pawn shop , if they're pros then the coins are gone . In either case it's a drag .

Didn't that show have an entry fee? I don't know how these coins were stolen, but its hard for me to understand how it could have been a normal snatch and grab.

Probably wasn't a snatch and grab , too many high value coins . A Guy I knew in HS was indicted in Chicago a few years back , he had mob connects and ran a jewelry theft ring . They had their targets all picked out ahead of time , would hit them in their hotels or parking lots , we're talking big scores , they would go for watches , jewels , coins , anything worth a lot that they could get rid of fast . I also think the sheriff of Cook county was indicted .

Cook County? Like Chicago? The city who's dead gave Kennedy his majority?

    Not a surprise....

They're not! But I'll bet they pay pennies on the dollar and I'll bet someone will sell them for that!

people will kill another for $10. U think a thief has principles? U think he knows values? He'll get whatever he can for whatever. Then he'll look for his next target and keep on going. Just hope you're not the next in his lineup.
