I have this Constantine I from Trier PTR Dot. I can't find the correct combination of features. It should be like this but with PTR Dot. My coin is below. Some help would be great.
I looked at that several times, but the curl on the headdress isn't as long. Is that something I should typically ignore? Thanks for your help and feedback.
There is always a difference in these details, unless it is a die match, but that does not affect the RIC number. In RIC VII, your coin is a D2 bust, which is helmeted and cuirassed, no other conditions. I have some pages on bust types in RIC VII, which needs some corrections and updating; but it might help. http://www.constantinethegreatcoins.com/busts/
Thanks. That really makes a difference to me. And thanks for the pages on bust types. I have been looking for something like that.
