went to my local grocery today. I noticed the cashier had bright shiny quarters in his drawer , so I asked him to break a dollar for me, and they were weir farms and there was a W in the 4 he gave me. So I asked if he’d sell me the rest. So I bought $10 worth from him (loose). Asked the other cashier if he had a roll, and sure enough he had a roll of new weir. In the ones I bought loose, there were 9 W’s. And one more in the roll! Woo Hoo!
Going back tomorrow for more.

Wow, nice going! Of the 7 at the top of your pic, I would have the one at the 4 o’clock position graded. Maybe the one at the very bottom of your picture as well, but can’t tell for sure as it’s in a shadow.

 

Went Back to the grocery store today and bought 6 more rolls of Weir Farms quarters. They produced 16 more W's. I now have 26 total!

 

Happy to hear you found them! That's insane! It's exciting to find big haul.
On the flip side, I guess this means the mint didn't spread them out better than last year like they said they would if you have now found 26 in what I would assume to be 8 rolls. ​

 

Then again, I guess it's up to the third party services to mix them in...anyway, that's an awesome find! Congrats!

 

Yeah I was suprised to find that many in 8 rolls! My best find EVER! I already traded 2 for the 2 2019 W's I need to complete my 2019 W's collection. (only 2 of each issue). Will use these Weir Farms as trading stock for the other 2020'd I need.
I was suprised to see them get a full box of 2020 quarters.That just never happens here.

I'm in Florida....Outskirts of Tampa. Noticed the local 7-11 has Weir Farms quarters too. Will go talk to the MGr Later. Looks like a LOAD of Weir Farms showed up in this area this week.

 

3 boxes this week yielded 7 silvers, so I’m back in the game! The 3rd box was the best with 6 silvers (including a 1935 Walker - @1913LibertyHeadNickel!).
Also a 1987-P, I haven’t found one of those in awhile.

 

Tampa, huh? I'll be there in 7 hours.

 

Picked up $200 of CWR halves from one bank, but I believe they are a dump after searching a handful of rolls. Will check them all later for varieties. I was more excited about the $50 of mixed wrapper half rolls I picked up at the 2nd bank! One CWR had 10 x 40%ers. I wish they could all be that easy.
I also picked up 2 boxes of quarters and 1 box of halves for later.

 

Meow has found this Cats' tenth W quarter, and a Silver one. The silver quarter does a good job of hiding amongst the clads. Besides the date and mintmark, Meow would never would have thought it was a silver one. Even the reeded edge looks like a worn clad. Meow wonders how many years this well disguised quarter was in the wild. It could not elude this Kitties hunting and became prey.

 

Good going! The AMP W looks to be in great condition.

 

Picked up 4 more rolls from grocery store. Found 3 Samoa bat W’s and a silver! Will go back tonight!

 

Wow terrific! Such luck! Meow has to go through about $1000 in rolls just to find one W. Meow has not yet to find one in paw with change.

 

Yes ,is on the undinged side for a once or twice spent coin. Meow is happy to find any W quarter, but has still not found a San Antonio one yet. Meow now has 1 Lowell, 7 Marianas, 2 War, and one River. Seems where Meow lives, the distribution of new coins are not quite even. Meow has yet to see a single 2020 coin in roll yet.

 

Sounds like quite a lot of weight!

 

I don't know how or where my local grocery store got all these New 2020 Weir farms rolls. But sure am glad they did!
