well, as i said..getting a refund, plus postage is being paid by vendor, so he lost 6.50 in postage on a 13.50 cent sale he needs to refund 100% to me, so it is costing him for his mistake (or mis-deed), either way..ebay has my back..but next time, if crap pictures, i will not buy nor bid
I hope you will give this seller a negative feedback and mark it as "seller is selling damaged coins as errors". These sellers are quick to give refunds so they can keep their good feedback and keep on swindling good folks.
If he does, the seller can get it taken down instantly. Once the seller issues a refund, all they have to do is ask, and eBay will remove negative feedback.
This must be something new , I used to sell and the only way a negative could be removed was for both the buyer and seller agree to it. Hell this way Ebay feedback would be worthless. There is just too much junk on there after they started no listing fees.
When I used to sell a lot, things were a lot more symmetrical between buyers and sellers. In particular, both could leave any type of feedback. (In fact, at the very beginning, feedback didn't even have to be related to a transaction!) Once they took away sellers' ability to leave neutral or negative feedback, the balance of power shifted heavily in favor of the buyer. I'm guessing this is one (dysfunctional) way they've tried to fix it; if there's a buyer you simply can't make happy, even after giving them a full refund, eBay will delete negative feedback they've left you. Of course, the unintended consequence is that sellers can get away with outrageous stunts as long as they're willing to do refunds on demand. One clueless buyer keeping a bogus coin will cover the cost of several returns.
th ere is a listing fee..35 cents per item, after your allotted free ones, sometimes you get 50-500 free per month, other months 0..my fees per month average 180.00 for 8k worth of items listed..and FEEDBACK is very important for a seller, not so much the buyer, as we can only leave good feedback for buyers, but seller feedback will stick, if it is justified, and the vendor acted in a wrongful manner...if he refunds me, i am going to leave neutral., as i want my money back, and when i get it will be satisfied, i believe he did not list this on purpose not knowing, ignorance does not need to be punished...
