I vote for a complete change. Outlaws on coins! Billy the Kid on the quarter, Doc Holiday silver dollar. Oh, just a thought.

Now there's an idea! I'm pumped about the Bonnie & Clyde nickel and the Timothy McVeigh dime!

Gradual progression. Wait until you see what I have in store for the half-dollar.

Clearly you haven't heard certain people from this hobby hold forth with their opinions of Abraham Lincoln. Or others with their opinions of Andrew Jackson, or FDR, or...

Again, what is the preoccupation with dead politiicans on coinage? Someone 2,000 years from now is going to think a 1950s quarter dates from Washington's first term as president or something like that.

Allegories look better and leave people room to project their own ideals. How about Liberty, Responsibility, Thrift, Inspiration, & Perseverence on various coins?

In all likelihood any replacement design will be worse than what we have. I for one will pass on any change in design.

That might make the most sense of all.

It's actually the dime, the longest by far with no meaningful change

That's why we should remove them all, across the board, so neither party is singled out.

Changed composition in 1964. And the design is largely unchanged since 1946. The nickel has had TJeff since 1938.

The nickel has literally changed design multiple times, the dime is the same
