1974 d dime doubling?

    Here is a 1974 d dime doubling on the nose,top lip and chin, neck, also looks to be d/d mint mark

    I've seen others like this go for big $ as they call them doubled dies varieties from cherry pickers book is it worth anything

    Really? I've never heard of doubled die varieties. I should look into that!

    Does your book mention any 1974 D doubled die varieties? o_O

    Notice how the area is flat and shelf-like. That is a characteristic of mechanical doubling, not hub doubling. MD adds now value to the coin

    The D looks like it took a hit and is not a RPM

    That looks like ND to me. Another way to describe it is NAV or No Added Value Doubling.
