That's what I thought, but it hasn't worked out that way...or at least it hasn't seemed to.

probably because people can feel proud of their state as i find more americans are excited to say which one they are from yet their isn;t that big of a connection between presidents and the people for the most part.

Maybe, I sure do like Oregon. I think part of it is people are hoarding the dollars. I worked at a bank for a year and I remember I would get them (a couple a day) and someone would almost always snatch them up because they were all "putting together a set." Typically older folks and they would seem to get the same one over and over again. I'm most of them would be cashed back in eventually to repeat the cycle.

What AGAIN? They have already done, and we have paid for that study four times over the past thirty years. And every time the study recommended the introduction of a small size dollar and the elimination of the paper note.

prez dollar can't be recognized its mint mark in the long run. and the date also. the date can only be known by looking at the president face. the mint mark is lightly made. few years from now. all mint mark is gone. anyway, the collectors were fully hoarded those new coins.

i hope the date and mint mark will be put to the obverse or reverse again. these were important and most likely people would like to see it clear. while in god we trust and e pluribus unum can be put on its rim instead.
