Everyone on the forum says: "Well, as long as you like the coin, that's all that is important"

    or

"I can't really tell from the obverse, but it looks Roman, maybe from the Constatine period" and it's actually an G-4 Barber quarter you've posted a picture of......

Actually what you've said is so true. Of course there are still those that are a little more irritating when they come right out and say "Wow, did you get taken". SO, which way would you like it to go?

    Very funny, but true.

Especially about the Barber quarter part.

True and not true. I might say this to someone who posted one of those graded toned coins, even if they got a deal on the coin. I also might say this to someone who paid what the coin was worth - but I really don't like it. A lot of the forum users like to get validation for their purchases, which is okay - but at some point you have to say I like the coin and it was worth it no matter what anyone else says. What you consider a bad purchase might be a good purchase in my opinions. Back to "opinions". :)

That may not mean you made a bad purchase, it may mean you need a lot more practice taking pictures.

At the Coin Show, your friend says "Didn't you see me frantically waving my arms at you from the next row of tables?"!
