Reported 'em all. The CT Posse strikes again ! :hammer: "Saddle 'em up, men... TONIGHT WE RIDE !!!" :hammer:
Ebay is full of fools with dreams of getting rich and there are plenty of peeps on Ebay willing to take their money. Ribbit :goof: Ps: Reported to the CFE Group.
I tried to report it but it keeps saying the page is not responding , hopefully too many of us are reporting it , this person is obviusly delusional , my opinion , and and has no morals . rzage
OK I've reported it , hope they pull it before someone loses a lot of money , as a member of Coin Forgery Ebay , please notify me or other members when you see a forgery . rzage
Here is a 1943 with the date of the imposter with it. It is easy to see the imposter was never a 1943, so it doesn't matter what it once was. Ribbit
WILL DO. Thanks for helping. :thumb: CT Activism ! I'm "making funny", but this really is serious. It feels good to do something good for the hobby. If some bidder DOESN'T get burned, that's a good thing.
Ya know what's sad about these bidders... As a legit collector, let's say you were honestly interested in locating a legit 1943 copper 1c. Everybody knows they're huge $$$. So what would you do if you saw one offered ? Wouldn't you check that date ULTRA CAREFULLY for any sign of alteration ? Of course. Anybody would. :headbang::headbang: EXCEPT THE KNUCKLEHEADS BIDDING ON THIS THING. :headbang::headbang: Somehow they missed the subtle signs !
I just don't understand this ,I read a while back that all the 43 copper cents are accounted for only about five minted and one is in the smithsonian so if any bidder bids on something like that without doing research on it, is foolish period.I said this earlier in this post. Jazzcoins Joe:whistle:
When they were mistakenly minted, how can anyone tell if they are ever "all accounted for". For all we know, they might have made 100 at each mint. I doubt it, but it is possible.
thanks everyone. This has yet to be pulled, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. If not then I hope the winning bidder refuses to pay, after they realize they've been duped.
BTW - the best way to report numismatic fraud is here: http://ebay.com/ccw Be sure to bookmark that address (use that actual address, even though it's redirected). Ribbit
I've heard the same numbers , I'm sure at the price they are selling at if there were many more some would of showed up by now , 5 sounds about right . rzage
