    Good morning all,

Love these landscape coins! Here are my 2, from the recent Goldberg sale. Both unfortunately quite low grade, but in the right light, you can clearly see the sun rising over those Vermont hills.

The top one is a 1786 Ryder 6 and the bottom one is a 1785 Ryder 4. :hammer:

Nice to see coins like this.
I get so tied up in my little niche that I often forget there's other coins out there.

I think Colonials are some of the hippest coins out there.

But it's another esoteric area where knowledge is even more important and less readily available than some other areas.

I mean... how much trouble can one get into collecting Roosevelt 10c ?

I'll get into Colonials some day, but first I'll need some time to read up, learn up, and join up... hit the books, join the CCCC.

I absolutely agree, American Numismatics has some much more to offer than some people think!
To each his own, but i find early U.S coins particularly appealing, as they were the money of the early pioneers who settled a vast continent. Imagine what stories these coins have to tell. Fascinating!
