I purchased a coin that I feel is not the grade seller advertised. He says he will give me a refund on return, not worth losing the shipping cost. My feedback is dependent on your evaluation. Coin looks highly cleaned & polished, no feathers on breast.
The details are definitely not AU. The coin has been polished, the lack of details on the eagle and lady liberty say it all. 1943 is a fairly common date for walkers, you can probably get a pcgs/ngc certified one for $60.
https://www.littletoncoin.com/shop/...p_category=&parent_category_rn=&storeId=10001 I'd eat the shipping even Littleton has a vf walker 43 $30.
Definitely a problem coin. If it was advertised as AU than I would return it. Clearly it is not. If you bought it on eBay you can return it. The seller doesn’t have a lot of say in those matters. eBay nearly always sides with the buyer.
Honestly it looks to me like a coin that has severe PVC contamination that was removed/cleaned improperly. I would pass on it at melt value if the LCS offered it to me.
If the seller listed that as AU/Unc, it's not as described, and they'll have to cover the return shipping. If the seller refunds without a hassle, I'd leave positive feedback with the comment "refund was hassle-free".
Let’s write your feedback together like one of those stories in elementary school where each person provides one word at a time.
