I just don't care for them. I think it is an attractive enough design...they just don't do it for me. As crazy as it sounds...I like SBA's a lot more.

I like the design exspecially the eagle on the back , but probably won't collect them , maybe one of the Cheerios ones if it was cheap enough .

I must admit I do like the reverse...but not enough to make me collect the series.

I think it's a really nice design, I like the depth of the design and it's a coin that sort of invites you to read about her and the L&C expedition. I'll probably buy one for the type set but don't see getting the series, unless I find a set at a good price.

I don't care for that obverse that much, either. But I do hold onto some of the better dates and specimens. Here's one I held just for the toning. It's not spectacular, but not bad for one of these.

Ditto! I think the reverse is very nice... the obverse is good, but not great. I never have liked the small-sized dollars anyway... But, at least the Mint tried to make it look good and, for the most part, succeeded. I like the SACs better than the new PREZs, that's for certain!!!

I don't really like it, there is something wrong with her mug and that poor little kid takes after her mother:( :(. The only thing that;s attractive is the alloy, gold appearance seems to be a little to much going on, on the obverse , and reverse not for me

Of course Thalia Elizabeth called it the "mommy/baby dollar" so she would vote yes in the poll! And the series began the same year she was born, 2000.

We just completed the Dansco album (pending the new page for the '08s) with a reasonably priced 2001-S.

So what's the story with the series after 2008? I remember there was talk about a new reverse every year...but I haven't seen anything about it lately nor have I ever seen any design images.

Yes, I do.....both the front and back are my favorite designs for a contemporary coin. Just wish they would be actually used in circulation.

I don't collect the Sac dollars. I like the reverse design. But the obverse design reminds me some type of caricature or cartoon not a real person. Just a side note the folks down in Bolivia like the obverse design and the coin does circulates thru out Bolivia.

So what is changing in the Sacajawea designs in 2009.
BTW what are we going to call the year 2010. That has been on my mind for like a year now. :rolling:

    Twenty ten
    two-thousand ten
    2-o-10
    Two-ten
