Anyone have any interesting stories to share? We here in Santa Clara have a big one coming up in Nov. Needless to say I am excited and cannot wait...it needs to be the 13th already :hammer:

What are some coins you look for when you go? Any finds that stopped your heart...any of those once in a life time finds?

Me I am looking for those old coppers...maybe I will get to see a nice Liberty Cap in person :thumb:

Considering it isn't November yet, it's kind of hard to say.

lol I just went to the first one I had been to in about 15 years. Only about 40 dealers. I was overwhelmed by the selection. I had a list with me but soon found I had too much on the list to look for at every table! I did follow the list pretty good. I can't imagine what a big show would be like. Better just figure on it being an all day event and bring a fat wallet!

I found an AG-G 1937-S quarter that I bought. I was looking for a lot of the key Barbers that had been talked about on here lately. Found very few. Some were way too high for me and some were never found. I ended up buying a VG 1910-S half on a whim, just because I wanted one and didn't own any yet. It looked better than the others around it.

I posted a thread Sunday. Have fun at yours!
