Howdy fellow error freakz, Someone just brought this to my attention: http://cgi.ebay.com/mint-error-coin...goryZ524QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem For the error collectors here, it should be obvious this is post mint "damage". I feel sorry for the person that's about to pay more than 10 cents for that coin. However, once the auction finishes, if someone with an Ebay account wants to message the winning bidder and let them know I've got a thousand of these I will sell to them for half of what they paid for that one, I'd appreciate it. All kidding aside, it wouldn't hurt to message the winning bidder to inform them that it is not an error but rather, someone who had a dime and a penny and a hammer. It's truly amazing how much you can make with 11 cents and a rock. :goof: Ribbit
Fake :loud: fake:loud: fake wow I do feel for the buyer on this one ebay doe's it again. The rims are a dead give away looks like one coin shaved down and another coin place on top , that must have been his first attempt I guess he was trying to make a mule or, a clashed die or something OH well nice hammer job through. Jazzcoins Joe:whistle::whistle:
""I don't know much about coins."" The telltale sign somethings not right. It translates to Buyer Beware. It of course will get the seller off the hook with feebay.
Looks like leothegreat just turned into leothescrewed! $75.00 for a hammer job? Where's that 8 pounder, we gotta make some money! :hammer:
Leo wrote back to me and said he did not purchase the coin. He probably left good feedback because the seller let him back out.
Smart move on Leo's part! Did he expound on exactly what he ws thinking of was this an intentional over bid to prevent the coin from ending up in some poor fellow's hands!
I believe he was warned by some people about the coin. I warned him and asked in this thread for others to warn him also.
