Fraudulent Coin!

So, [edited] I bought a 2013 Silver Eagle coin on the internet for $19.99. I'm pretty sure you all have seen the ad. A nice shiny coin that is super polished and has a little gold embossing on the front of the dress.

So, I get this coin in the mail, and not only does it NOT have the gold embossing on the dress, but it's silver coating doesn't look right.

Then after I placed it under the microscope, I found the following things.

Plus, under the microscope, you can see that the silver is coming off!

try the flip test. I'm all in on fake but 90% of the time if you face lady liberty straight up flip over eagles upside down?

 

So, what are you going to do?

 

In other words, it is supposed to be struck in "coin turn", not "medal turn". ~ Chris

 

Why did you order a damaged coin in the first place? The gold on the coin destroys its value to coin collectors. It becomes a trinket.

Not to mention, you paid $5 over melt for a damaged piece of junk.

 

Please post the link where you bought it from so nobody else makes the same purchase. Live and learn, that's what we do here!

 

Assuming the thing isn't silver, you burned $20; skip lunch for two days and it'll even itself out.

 

Show us a full-coin picture.

What are your return options? I'd get dizzy returning that for a refund.

 

These from a 2016 burnished ASE.....The only thingg I have on the desktop at the moment.
