Pavlos You pick out the big men. I'll make them brave!

I still had to announce a winner, oops.
It was a difficult choice, but I decided that @dougsmit is the winner! It was a very interesting read in detail about a coin I have not seen before.
For the 2nd price (if there was one), it would be @Cucumbor, your story was touching with the background story of your grandfather in the war, very cool!

    Many thanks for participating all!

What is in your opinion a better way to organize a giveway? Just a random giveway with names in a hat, or a giveway you have to put effort in like this one?

Personally, I think "working" for it is not an easy means to "share the passion" of Ancients Collecting. I am ok, and really do not need to receive coins "de gratis". Rather, I enjoy having qualified folks that are new to Ancients, are not interested in selling off the coin should they receive it, and are generally younger and truly developing a passion for Ancient Collecting to receive the coin.

Should I ever win, my druthers is to pass it on to someone as I just described.

My thoughts. The kindness of Gifting is always the Gifters' discretion.

Totally agreed @Alegandron! If I ever have another giveaway I will take into account the new and passionate collectors. On the end, if I makes someone happy with it, young or old, it is fine for me, that was the whole purpose.
