I found these coin roll hunting over the years and I need to liquidate some of them to make room for more. Am not sure what to ask price-wise for each as there are differing researched asking prices. I don't appreciate ebay as a way to sell with their fees and shipping prices, so I welcome other suggestions. Thank You.
The only one I saw that looked ok was the 1960 D over D mintmark. The ones with the tiny die chips don't have much added value unless you want to be like a bunch of thieves I have seen on Ebay. That place has become horrible with a few sellers lying about their junk and selling it for huge prices.
I'm curious to know why the close-up of the 1960-D RPM looks rather corroded and/or dirty but the image of the full coin doesn't. ~ Chris
The 50s look like die chips. The 1st 60 looks like a small lamination. If you want our help, the pictures need to be better * In focus * Camera square to the coin * Clearly labeled * One picture full obverse and full reverse * Then move on to detail shots
Thanks a lot for the input. For a number of reasons I'm trying to avoid ebay, including what you mentioned (only I was the victim). I know that there are some who really appreciate these errors, as I do, and I need to sell some of what I have to make room. I will try to take better photos.
Is this better? I use an older iphone to take the photos, and I can't seem to get the lighting right. I'm sure that both are factors in the poor quality. Sorry.
I sure am glad you are trying to learn before selling your error coins on Ebay. That place has become overrun with junk it is about impossible to weed ones way thru it. Your 2009 cent looks like one of the types of ddr cents for this year. I'm not sure which one. I have lots of the ddr#1 coins and could have got more but I have been in poor health and slowed down collecting. Good luck
