Searched long and hard for a 2015 Louisiana quarter with the turkey sporting an extra digit. I just think that’s a neat error.

I managed to get a half dozen rolls of quarters recently to fight the boredom and put this one into the reject bowl and after a couple more coins I wondered if I had checked both sides of the coin. I dug into the bowl and found the 2015 and flipped it over.

I almost flipped out when I saw the claw. Glad I went back to check. \ 16BEB920-3649-44C8-9E10-E8D9FDB95133.jpeg DDAD187C-1412-4AFB-B2A4-D7F41649A697.jpeg 98623AED-A4BC-4EB4-A4C6-1DCDB07FB233.jpeg

I’d like to reconfirm the punctuation of your statement, please.
You weren’t saying: Neat! Die! Chip! were you?

The turkey does not have a extra digit. This is a small die chip , The small die chips seems to be quite abundant in the state quarter series for every state. sometimes large die chips can be found.
